Music Therapy
Music Therapy uses music along with a therapeutic relationship to meet a variety of needs. These needs include but are not limited to communicative, cognitive, academic, emotional, social, and spiritual. According to the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA), Music Therapy is "the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program."
